Rap star Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia Wednesday night after authorities say he ran from a police officer. According to a police spokesperson, an officer got a call about juveniles hanging out at an abandoned house in the Henry County area. Cops say when the officer rolled up to the home, he saw some women walking towards the yard and asked them to stop -- but when they didn't, he followed them into the yard. The officer says when he walked inside, he saw roughly 40 people in the yard -- and when they saw the cop, half of the people immediately booked it out of the home, including 19-year-old Soulja Boy. The people who stayed in the party claimed they were at the house for a "music video shoot."The cop says Soulja eventually returned to the home to retrieve his Range Rover -- and that's when he was arrested for obstruction of justice ... a misdemeanor. Soulja Boy, real name Deandre Cortez Way, was taken to jail and released.Another man was arrested during the incident for forgery -- cops tell us the suspect had eight counterfeit $100 bills. Cops also say they recovered a 9mm handgun in one of the cars in the driveway of the house -- but they don't know who the gun belongs to.Poor Soulja Boy , Now he really gotta kiss girl thru the friend, hahaahahaahah

The other day, inescapable TV drama was troubled R&B singer Chris Brown’s appearance on Larry King Live. While presumably, the exclusive interview was an attempt to restore his career, the Internet meme that has emerged around it is Brown’s somewhat bizarre choice of wardrobe – in particular, his baby blue bow tie.
In fact, the hashtag #chrisbrownsbowtie has been atop Twitter trending topics since the interview aired, evolving mostly into tweets using the term in humorous context.

Kanye West Is At It Again
KANYE TO REVEAL WEIRD "FAIRYTALE!"
Kanye West is about to debut a short film based on his song “See You In My Nightmares.” The movie is called “We Were Once A Fairytale” (taken from a line in the song) and it reunites ‘Ye with filmmaker Spike Jonze, who directed the “Flashing Lights” video. “Fairytale” runs about 15 minutes long and will debut on iTunes on September 8. The film was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival back in June.
Kanye’s mini-movie has some weird things going on. It starts out with the rapper getting intoxicated in a club with a group of women. He brings one of them home, starts getting freaky with her and then realizes that he’s actually doing his pillow! Then, ‘Ye starts throwing up rose petals – like the scene in “American Beauty.” Next, Kanye grabs a knife and cuts into his hand, a rodent comes out of the wound, takes out a knife of its own and kill itself!

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Yao Ming will have surgery on his broken left foot next week and the Rockets said today that the seven-time All-Star may not be available until the 2010-11 season.
The reality is that, in these times, every NBA team is trying to cut costs — most notably in the form of player salaries — whenever possible. But there are a handful of franchises whose desire to save money is full public knowledge.
The Hornets are one of those teams. And with the League’s highest payroll going into this free agency period, it was assumed somebody would be traded in a salary dump. Tyson Chandler was and is still the most sensible candidate (moreteams would want Tyson at his price tag than Peja Stojakovic at his`), but according to Chris Paul, not even the franchise centerpiece is safe.
